Cast & Credits: Starring Dasha (Eva), Violet Blue (Sara), Holly Hollywood (Victoria), Alec Metro (Rick), Tony Tedeschi (Jimmy), Rebecca Love (Chili), Eric Masterson (Tom), Rod Fontana (Danny).
Vivid presents a film directed by Paul Thomas. Written by Raven Touchstone.
Although packaged with Vivid's award-winning 1999 release "Seven Deadly Sins," "The 8th Sin" is not a sequel. What it is is an intriguing and gripping look into the interwoven lives of four couples, each grappling with a loss of intimacy with their partner.
We are introduced to Rick and Victoria, an adult-industry couple looking to add some spark to their lives. Rick finds himself losing interest in Victoria and she wastes little time in ditching him. Rick's limo driver is Jimmy, played well by Tony Tedeschi, who is dealing with having an escort for a wife. She just cannot resist men, whom Jimmy has forbade her from working with.
Tom, meanwhile, is desperate for love and hires a mail-order bride, played by Dasha despite the warnings of his sister, Sara and her policeman husband, Danny. Things get complicated when the bride turns out to be part of an extortion scam and Tom must call in a favor from Rick. All at the same time Sara is losing patience with her sex life and turns to an online romance helping to tie up the story neatly at the film's end.
Dasha always ignites whatever screen she performs on and in each of her scenes in "The 8th Sin" she sizzles, whether it is her initial coupling with Tom or her licentious scene with her Czechoslovakian partner-in-crime. Holly Hollywood is well on her way to superstardom with yet another searing performance. However the real scene-stealer is Violet Blue whose innocent face betrays the passion bubbling inside her. Unfortunately for Rebecca Love her sizable chest seems to exist primarily as a prop for a character lacking any depth though not without trying. Rod Fontana's turn as a well-meaning cop is strong and he is one of the film's highlights.
Whatever your interest is, "The 8th Sin" delivers: Smoking sex, gripping plot, and intersting characters. Vivid looks to have another award-winner to add to their impressive shelf.

Above all, we must realize that no arsenal, or no weapon in the arsenals of the world, is so formidable as the will and moral courage of free men and women. It is a weapon our adversaries in today's world do not have.
